How much of a retainer is required to book your services?
In order to book our services, 50% is due at the start of the planning process. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the wedding or event.
How to we begin?
I already have a venue coordinator, why do I need to hire an event/ wedding planner?
Your catering manager or venue coordinator’s sole responsibility is to look out for the needs and deliverables of the venue. While they can and will gladly guide you in a general direction of what to think about and what vendors you may want to consider, they are not there to work with you side by side throughout the planning process and direct you to those specific vendors that will fit your specific wedding needs. It is not in their job description to confirm your vendors, run your rehearsal, oversee the vendors at your wedding, cue you down the aisle at your ceremony, make sure all of the day’s events are running according to schedule and that your vision and priorities for the day are represented. Your event planner works tirelessly for you to make every aspect run smoothly, ensures your vendors are properly informed, sends out a final timeline and contact sheet prior to the wedding, makes sure you are having a great time celebrating and ensures that your vision has become a reality. Your event planner will give you unbiased recommendations and opinions specific to your wedding’s budget, style and overall vision.
